University of Port Harcourt

The Board of Examination in the University of Port Harcourt, UNIPORT has released their 2nd Batch Admission List for the 2018/2019 Academic session. The UNIPORT 2nd Batch Admission List contains the candidates who have been Offered Provisional Admission after being tested by the UTME and Post-UTME by the Varsity.

Therefore, all candidates who participated their Post UTME Examination conducted by the Varsity can now check their UNIPORT Post UTME Result Online and after which they can check the Admission List.

How To Check UNIPORT 2nd Batch Admission List

NOTE: Presently as at the time this content was published, UNIPORT 2nd Batch Admission List has been uploaded to the portal. The management is currently compiling the names of those to be offered provisional admission.

The admission list containing 1555 names of candidates offered admission in the 2018/2019 Academic Session.

Candidates should note that the UNIPORT 2nd Batch Admission List comes in pdf format and can be downloaded once it’s been released.

Admitted candidates should proceed with Payment of UNIPORT Acceptance Fee.


1. Candidates who will be below 16 years of age by October 31st, 2018 need not proceed with Registration

2. Admitted candidates who have not accepted their admission on the JAMB website (CAPS) should do so latest by Thursday October 11th, 2018 or the admission will be withdrawn.

3. No candidate can be offered admission EXCEPT O’level result(s) have been successfully uploaded on JAMB website (CAPS). ALL candidates not yet admitted SHOULD therefore upload their O’level result(s) at UNIPORT ICTC or any accredited JAMB CBT center on or before Thursday October 11th, 2018.

4. Admission is still in progress

After checking your admission status on UNIPORT portal, you are expected to proceed to JAMB CAPS portal to accept/decline the Admission offer.

How To Check Admission Status And Accept/Reject It On JAMB CAPS

  1. Open your phone browser (Google Chrome is preferable).
  2. Visit the jamb portal by visiting  https://www.jamb.org.ng
  3. Click on “Create e-facility Account/Login
  4. A page will be displayed to you. Enter your email address and Password and click Login.
  5. From the list of menus, click on “Check UTME/DE Admission Status on CAPS “. You will be redirected to JAMB CAPS portal.
  6. By the left side of the page, select “Admission Status”. Now you need to change your mobile browser to desktop view.
  7. From the menu button on your Chrome browser, tick the “Request desktop site”.
  8. Your details including Jamb score, institution, date of birth and admission status will be displayed to you.
  9. If you have been given admitted on JAMB CAPS portal, then accept the admission.
  10. If the institution and course space is blank or you have not been admitted then don’t click on accept admission. Just keep checking back.
