Big Brother Naija, formerly known as Big Brother Nigeria, is a reality TV show based on the Big Brother TV series in which 12 contestants live in an isolated house and compete for a large cash prize worth $100000 at the end of the show by avoiding being evicted by viewers. The first season of the show first aired on DStv Channel 37 from March 5 to June 4, 2006. The voting results are verified by the auditing company of Alexander-Forbes.
Season 1
Ebuka, the most popular house mate for several weeks into the show and widely believed to emerge winner was the seventh house mate to be evicted; many viewers blame the Joe’s Fan Club (JFC) for his eviction. Joe himself was soon evicted from the show.The first season of the show first aired on DStv Channel 37 from March 5 to June 4, 2006. In a twist to the game, two new contestants were introduced on Day 23, much to the excitement of the remaining house mates.
Season 2
The second season of Big Brother Nigeria (entitled Big Brother Naija) premiered 11 years after the first season. Efe Ejeba popularly known as EfeMoney emerged winner of the second season in 2017.
Season 3
Miracle Igbokwe , a Pilot and Model from Imo State emerged winner of the Double Wahala Reality Third season in 2018. He also received cash prizes and Land from Gov Rochas Okorocha.
IMPORTANT As announce by John Ugbe, the Managing Director, MultiChoice Nigeria, “the show was reinvented by bringing back the Nigerian version to draw pan-African audiences for the same reasons that Big Brother Africa did”. He added that the return of the reality show was based on popular demand by people who wanted it back. He told the News Agency of Nigeria in Lagos.

5). Delta State – Deluxe Garden Suites, Bauchi Close, Shell Edjeba, Warri
6). Ibadan – Mauve 21 Events Centre, MKO Abiola Way, Ring Road, by Adeoyo Junction, Ibadan
N/B: Auditions for the 2018 edition of the Big Brother Naija reality show will be held between the 9th and 10th of December, 2017 across six different locations in Nigeria.

Currently, the form is not yet on sale. Meanwhile, the 2018 Big Brother Naija Application Requirement and eligibility was based on the under-listed information;
- You must be a Nigerian citizen over 21 years of age.
- A valid international passport.
